“This decidedly gritty and unapologetic hard rock/metal powerhouse always brings a level of power and enthusiasm usually held for festivals and arena rock from the 80s.” –Metal Nexus

Stonebone Band is kicking ass again.

Face in the Crowd is the culmination of years of training in music, punctuated by stints in the school of hard knocks. Founder, frontman, and 5th generation Floridian Joe Stiles blends biting social commentary with face-melting rhythms in this latest release of 10 hardcore anthems – along with a special tip of the hat to Duane, Gregg, and Dickey.

Joining Stiles to thrash out the sound, lead guitarist Sean Tibbetts rips power chords as pile-driving as Black Sabbath or Alice in Chains. With “Slick Willy from Philly” on bass and Joe Stiles on vocals and drums, their rock-solid engine purrs and snarls.

Maybe a fan put it best: “You wrote that song as if you’re going through exactly what I’m going through and now I don’t feel all alone.”

Stonebone leaves their frustration and rage on the stage, taking away yours, too. When they come to your favorite dive, festival, or arena, go see why fans call the shows cathartic. Until then, spend time with their latest videos to see what Joe means when he confesses, “It never feels like work except for the loading in.”

 See you in the pit.
